History:

Curtis began racing competetively at 15 years old. Older brother of Reece, he also spent the majority of his childhood in the paddock. After a few years of off road riding experiece he took to the circuits. His first meeting was at the Wigan circuit, Three Sisters, onboard an Aprilia RS 125. He soon realised that due to his early teenage growth spirt his size and weight was simply too big to compete with the younger and lighter riders so as soon as he could he switched to the larger and more powerful Suzuki SV 650 Minitwin class.

2007 was Curtis' first full season onboard the SV650. Competing in the clubman class he was able to secure some solid results and better his riding craft, the season ended with curtis securing a team ride with the BCL Watches team. 2008 was Curtis' first real taste of racing success. He ran the full season at the front end of the races, running top 3 in the championship for most of the year until a crash at Brands Hatch forced him to sit out the last few meetings.

For 2009 Curtis went on to join his brother, Reece, in the Triumph Triple Challege. He enjoyed the challenge of the more powerful Triumph Daytona 675 and sucured some impressive results in that season.

Like Reece, 2010 was a year of picking and choosing events as he wished and it was in 2011 that Curtis picked up his first of many major championship trophys. He decided that he should ride back in the Minitwin class under the watchful eye of Mick Palfreman, an ex-racer with a wealth of experience. With Mick's help, and having only started halfway through the season Curtis achieved 3rd in the championship. He betterd this in 2012 by taking the championship win with more than 20 wins and an outstanding lap record.

Curtis's sucess didn't end there, after a year out, Curtis blew away his oposition at the Aintree Motorcycle Club in the 2014 season. He walked away with championship honors in the Formula 600, Powerbike and Superbike championships, all onboard his Triumph Daytona 675. A result only a handful of riders have managed to do.

2015 brings an entirely new challenge to Curtis. Joining the PRF Racing team and moving up to the 1000cc GP1 Class. Follow his results to see how he does.
